The photographer’s black and white visions bring to mind images of Lolo and Sosaku as timeless beings, fundamentally rooted to the studio, doomed and honoured to live there. In an exercise of extreme acclimatization, their features take on properties of metal and plaster, giving rise to the idea that the artist and his space, after one sets up inside the other, end up being one and the same.
